Exercise – avoid the gym

OK, so Christmas and exercise aren’t really a marriage made in heaven but they can be. The gyms are crowded with the ‘temporary two monthers’ and you look about as awkward as Lord Sugar in a night club. Our serviced properties are hugged with stunning surroundings. Having an early morning jog on Christmas eve or even the next day certainly helps blow out the party cobwebs and sets you up for the day. You don’t have to run the London marathon, just a light gentle jog around Ocean Village, Southampton or even Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth will do the trick. And of course, on the 25th, you’ll be joining the New Year elite in some shiny new active wear…

Socialise

The Christmas to New Year bit is a no man’s land of wondering what to do, especially if you are all fammed out. And I bet at the start of the year you made a mental promise of hooking up with that someone you had not seen for ages. Or you have just been through your phone and seen a test message you didn’t reply too. Oops.

Meet that mate, go for a coffee and rekindle new relations, after all isn’t that the spirit of Christmas?

Events

Have you ever wondered what to do when you have a spare few hours? Step up Facebook. The ‘Events’ tab has a whole host of places to hang out around here. From adult pantos to Christmas shopping there is plenty to do.

It offers a chance to socialise and tale advantage of places that may be feeling the pinch or lull of the season. It may bring you something that will take you out of your comfort zones. Speaking of which…

Step Out If Your Comfort Zone

Comfort zone. What exactly is it? The tiny little bubble you have been sat in for a while? When guests stay in our serviced properties and they have previously been cooped up in hotels they are in a while new zone.

Like them you maybe wanting to explore new adventures and beginnings. Take that sky dive, do that boot camp or take up cooking lessons. Grabbing a new skill will start the ball rolling to take you into territory you didn’t know existed in the first place! Who knows, 2018 might even be the year you graduate…to a new you.

Happy New Year You!
