Mettricks, Woolston,

If we are going to go uber cool with the coffee then Mettricks is the one. Set on what used to be a ship builders this trendy coffee joint is dead centre to the fastest growing apartment development in Southampton.

And they like to keep it in the family:

‘Family because it is our Great Grandparents, George & Margaret Mettrick, who’s name sits over our doors. Margaret was a baker, a homemaker, a Mother, Grandma & Grandma Great. It is to the memory of her hospitality, her baking, her stovetop kettle (whistling) that the team at Mettricks welcomes you.

George was a carpenter, publican & pianist, a Father, Grandad & Grandad Great. It is with a nod to his love of a pint of mild that we serve local real ales. His piano playing antics at pubs & parties that sparked the idea for our live music nights.

Mettricks – taking inspiration from the timeless ideas of great food & drink, warm welcomes & the best of hospitality.

Other house locations include Guildhall square and and The Old Town, Southampton all within walking distance of our serviced apartments.
