Year on year displays a 5% increase in visits but spend is at 0%. Specifically for Southampton tourism was ramped up thanks to the increase in cruise ships and freighters at Southampton docks. In the serviced accommodation sector this is great news for tourists that stayed with Town or Country before setting sale in a cruise to destinations around the world.

In Portsmouth, an increase in visitors for outdoor events and sporting regattas, such as the America’s Cup, gave the economy a boost.

Thanks to the Town or Country vast choice of serviced properties on the south coast we were able to cater for guests of business and pleasure. And we won’t stop there. We are delighted to announce further expansion with dedicated blocks of serviced apartments already in progress.
